SmartBlock is a steel concrete block mould system that lets you convert waste concrete into reusable blocks on-site or at your concrete yard. Instead of paying disposal fees for leftover concrete, you create valuable blocks that can be sold or used in your projects.
SmartBlock comes in multiple configurations including 1200mm and 1800mm lengths, all 600mm wide and 600mm high. You can choose from convex, flat, or concave base options, plus step moulds and half-bottom combinations to suit different applications.
The standard 1200mm x 600mm x 600mm mould holds 0.43m³ of concrete. Each finished block weighs approximately 1000kg when cured.
Yes, we offer divider plate inserts that convert your 1200mm mould into two 600mm x 600mm x 600mm blocks, giving you flexibility without buying additional moulds.
The interlocking design allows you to build straight walls, create 90-degree corners, or stagger blocks for sloped retaining walls. They’re suitable for temporary barriers, permanent structures, site boundaries, and storage areas.
SmartBlock moulds are built from 4mm steel construction designed to handle repeated concrete pours and rough construction site conditions. With proper care, they’ll last for years of regular use.
No special equipment is required. You can pour concrete directly into the moulds using standard concrete trucks or pumps. The moulds work with any standard concrete mix.
Depending on weather conditions and concrete mix, you can typically demould after 24-48 hours when the concrete has reached sufficient strength.
