FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive is a closed-cell polyolefin foam filler for expansion and control joints in concrete slabs, precast panels, and paving. Concrete moves as it cures and as temperatures change, and an open joint left unfilled traps grit, water, and incompressible debris that can spall the edges or crack the slab before it's even sealed. FutureFlex is physically cross-linked by irradiation, which keeps it chemically inert and lets it compress and recover as the joint keeps moving. A factory-applied adhesive strip sticks the foam straight into the joint, and the roll is self-wound with no release paper to peel off first. The closed-cell structure doesn't absorb water, so it holds up in submerged joints and other wet-trade areas as well as high-traffic floors. A perforated top edge tears away cleanly once the joint is ready for a backer rod or sealant bead. Concreters and paving contractors use it to prep expansion joints in tilt slabs, industrial floors, driveways, and footpaths.

About FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive
FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive fills expansion and control joints in concrete slabs, precast panels, and paving. It compresses and recovers with slab movement, keeping debris and water out of the joint before it's sealed.
No. FutureFlex has a factory-applied adhesive backing and is self-wound, so there is no release paper to peel off before fitting it into the joint.
Yes. FutureFlex is a closed-cell foam that does not absorb water, which suits submerged joints and other wet-trade locations where an open-cell filler would soak through.
This FutureFlex roll is 10mm wide and 150mm deep, supplied in a 25m roll.
Tear away the perforated top edge of the FutureFlex strip once it is seated in the joint. This leaves a clean recess sized for a backer rod or sealant bead on top.
FutureFlex is made from closed-cell, physically cross-linked polyolefin foam. Cross-linking by irradiation keeps it chemically inert, so it resists degradation from common construction-site chemicals.
