FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive 10mm x 100mm x 25m

SKU: 6190-FF10100

$79.00 + GST

FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive is a closed-cell polyolefin foam filler for expansion and control joints in concrete slabs, precast panels, and paving. Concrete moves as it cures and as temperatures change, and an open joint left unfilled traps grit, water, and incompressible debris that can spall the edges or crack the slab before it's even sealed. FutureFlex is physically cross-linked by irradiation, which keeps it chemically inert and lets it compress and recover as the joint keeps moving. A factory-applied adhesive strip sticks the foam straight into the joint, and the roll is self-wound with no release paper to peel off first. The closed-cell structure doesn't absorb water, so it holds up in submerged joints and other wet-trade areas as well as high-traffic floors. A perforated top edge tears away cleanly once the joint is ready for a backer rod or sealant bead. Concreters and paving contractors use it to prep expansion joints in tilt slabs, industrial floors, driveways, and footpaths.

What is FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive?

FutureFlex Expansion Foam Adhesive is a closed-cell polyolefin foam filler for expansion and control joints in concrete slabs, precast panels, and paving. Concrete moves as it cures and as temperatures change, and an open joint left unfilled traps grit, water, and incompressible debris that can spall the edges or crack the slab before it’s even sealed. FutureFlex is physically cross-linked by irradiation, which keeps it chemically inert and lets it compress and recover as the joint keeps moving. A factory-applied adhesive strip sticks the foam straight into the joint, and the roll is self-wound with no release paper to peel off first. The closed-cell structure doesn’t absorb water, so it holds up in submerged joints and other wet-trade areas as well as high-traffic floors. A perforated top edge tears away cleanly once the joint is ready for a backer rod or sealant bead. Concreters and paving contractors use it to prep expansion joints in tilt slabs, industrial floors, driveways, and footpaths.

Benefits

  • Compresses and recovers to track ongoing joint movement without losing its seal
  • Closed-cell structure resists water uptake in submerged and wet-trade joints
  • Factory-applied adhesive backing fits straight into the joint with no separate glue
  • Self-wound roll has no release paper to peel off before fitting
  • Perforated top edge tears away cleanly to prep the joint for backer rod or sealant
  • Cross-linked polyolefin foam stays chemically inert against common site chemicals

Main Applications

  • Expansion joints in tilt-up concrete slabs and precast panel gaps
  • Control joints in industrial and warehouse floor slabs
  • Joint filling in driveways, footpaths, and exterior paving
  • Prepping submerged or wet-trade joints ahead of sealant application
  • High-traffic floor joints needing a compressible, non-absorbent filler
