Description

The Pure Epoxy Concrete Injectable Adhesive Hybrid is a 420ml rapid-cure structural adhesive that combines epoxy strength with a fast-cure vinylester resin. Anchors and rebar dowels set with an ordinary adhesive can fail under seismic loading or in a fire, and a resin that can’t handle wet or flooded holes limits where it can be used on site. This ICCONS BIS-HY hybrid injection adhesive is styrene-free and non-sag, suited to threaded rod from M8 to M30 and rebar dowels from Ø8 to 32mm in both cracked and uncracked concrete. It’s ETA assessed for both threaded rod and post-installed rebar dowel applications, works in dry, wet, and flooded holes, and carries a fire rating of F120/F240. It holds Seismic Action C1 approval for M8 to M30 and Seismic Action C2 approval for M12, with a 100 year design life. Supplied 12 to a carton, it’s used by structural engineers and concreters anchoring threaded rod and rebar in demanding structural, seismic, and fire-rated applications.
