Y Post Chain Remover pulls a driven Steel Y Post back out of the ground using a chain and lever action, an alternative to the clamp-style Y Post Remover (6171-SPLT). Digging a post out by hand or levering it with a bar often bends the post, leaving it unusable on the next job. This tool wraps a chain around the post and uses leverage to draw it straight up out of the ground, keeping the Y profile intact for reuse. At 6.7kg, it suits repeated use across a whole fence line at the end of a job. Site managers and civil contractors use it to pull Steel Y Posts after silt fence, barrier mesh or temporary fencing comes down.
