Thermakraft Orange Polythene is a 300 micron damp proof membrane supplied in 4m x 25m rolls covering 100m² per roll. Moisture rising through a slab or wall from the ground beneath causes damp, mould, and long-term damage to floor coverings and finishes if it isn't stopped before the pour. This polythene is built from composite resins to a heavy duty 300 micron thickness, giving it a maximum water vapour transmission flow under 90mns/g so moisture can't migrate through it into the structure above. It's supplied on a folded roll, which makes handling and rolling out across a large slab area easier than an unfolded roll of the same size. Concreters and builders use it as the damp proof membrane under concrete slabs and as general building film on residential and commercial jobs.
