Single Cover Concrete Spacer – 50mm Cover – 150pk

Description

Single Cover Concrete Spacer 50mm Cover – 150pk (6192-CSAS50) is a cement-based spacer that holds reinforcing steel 50mm from the formwork. Each pack holds 150 spacers.

The spacer is made from a mix of OPC, GBS, GGBS, fibres and additives. The manufacturer’s data sheet lists compressive strength not less than M60, water absorption under 5% and deflection under load under 1mm.

The same data sheet lists a very low rapid chloride penetration result, chloride content under 0.3 kg/m3 and alkali silica reactivity as harmless. A pack weighs 18.7kg.

Reinforcing fixers and concreters use the single cover spacer, also called a concrete spacer or cover block, to set 50mm cover on commercial, industrial and civil pours.
