The semi-rigid metal duct is strong and durable for casting into concrete and is easily tied into position adjacent to reinforcing steel. Standard grout injection tubes, grout vents or blanked ends can be supplied on request.

Drossbach Steel Ducting 40mm is galvanised steel duct sold per metre, with an internal diameter of 40mm. It forms the void for post-tensioning tendons, starter bars and service penetrations in cast-in-place and precast concrete.
The duct is fabricated from 0.40mm galvanised strip steel. It is semi-rigid, so it ties easily to the reinforcing steel and holds its shape in the pour. Powerpac manufactures Drossbach duct in Auckland and Christchurch and supplies it nationwide. Powerpac also offers a cutting service, plus grout tubes, vent tubes and blanked ends on request. Charges apply to these services.
