FENCING SCRIM

Fencing Scrim, also known as shade cloth or printed mesh, is a permeable material commonly used on construction sites for dust control and brand promotion. Available in 1.2m, 1.6m, and 1.8m x 50m rolls.

Using Fencing Scrim on temporary fencing offers an affordable yet highly effective advertising solution. Perfect for construction sites, building enclosures, and scaffolding, these banners transform ordinary fencing into a powerful branding opportunity.

Our Fencing Scrim is printed with UV-stabilised inks, ensuring long-lasting, fade-resistant performance even in extreme weather conditions. The material’s flexibility prevents tearing in strong winds, while its slight stretch factor ensures it remains in place.

How to Install Fencing Scrim:

  1. Once received on site, unpack the printed fencing scrim roll and verify all details
  2. Grab your cable ties for installation
  3. Hold the top of the scrim against the fence panel and start securing it with the cable ties, we recommend using 8mm
  4. Secure the first cable tie to ensure the fencing scrim stays in place and tighten until it is secure with minimal movement
  5. Continue to the next eyelet, threading the cable tie through the eyelet and around the fence frame. Leave the ties slightly loose at this stage to allow for adjustments
  6. Repeat the process, attaching cable ties through each eyelet until all are fastened to the fence
  7. Once all ties are in place, tighten them to ensure the scrim is pulled tight and lies flat against the fence
  8. Trim any excess cable tie for a neat, professional finish.
  9. Installation complete

We suggest checking your fencing scrim every few months to ensure no cable ties have broken and your roll remains tightly secured.
