POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8mt FRP 5.8m

SKU: 6174-SDP5.8BL

$95.00 + GST

The POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8m FRP is the purpose-built pole for the POZ A-frame delineator stand system. At 5.8 metres, it is visible across open sites and above plant, hoarding, and ground-level obstructions — which is why you specify it over a shorter marker.

On large sites, ground-level delineation works at close range. A person approaching a cone sees it when they are almost on top of it. A 5.8m pole reads from across the site, giving plant operators, vehicles turning into an access lane, and workers navigating a large floor plate an early warning. That visibility gap is where incidents typically occur.

The pole is fibreglass reinforced plastic, so it is light enough for one person to carry at full length and will not corrode or degrade in outdoor conditions. It is blue, matching the POZ delineator system and separating these poles from orange or white TTM equipment on multi-function sites. The pole works with both the POZ 2-way and 4-way A-frame stands and stores in the POZ Pole Stillage between shifts. Site managers and traffic management coordinators on commercial, civil, and infrastructure projects specify it where delineation needs to be readable across the full site.

Benefits

  • 5.8m height is visible from across large sites — plant operators and vehicle drivers get early warning, not a last-second marker
  • FRP construction is light enough for one person to carry at full length without mechanical assistance
  • Resists corrosion, UV exposure, and weathering through the full project duration outdoors
  • Slots into both the POZ 2-way and 4-way A-frame stands for a complete, stable delineator assembly
  • Blue colour keeps the POZ delineator system visually separate from orange and white TTM equipment on multi-function sites
  • Non-conductive material reduces risk in areas with proximity to electrical services
  • Stores and transports in the POZ Pole Stillage, keeping poles organised and damage-free between shifts

Main Applications

  • High-visibility zone and boundary delineation on large commercial, civil, and infrastructure sites where ground-level markers are not sufficient
  • Temporary traffic management layouts where delineation needs to be readable at distance and above ground-level obstructions
  • Site establishment perimeter marking across open sites where the boundary needs to be visible from far away
  • Pedestrian corridor and exclusion zone delineation in open-plan and multi-level construction environments
  • Multi-function sites where blue-coded equipment separates pedestrian and public-facing zones from orange hazard marking

About POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8mt FRP

How to install

POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8mt FRP

  1. Confirm how many assemblies your TTM plan requires and make sure poles and stands are both on site before starting.
  2. Take poles out of the stillage and carry them to each marked position. At 5.8m, use a second person where wind or overhead obstructions are a factor.
  3. Set the A-frame stand at the marked position with legs fully open and flat on the ground.
  4. Insert the base of the pole into the stand socket and push down until it seats firmly and stands plumb.
  5. Step back and check the pole is visible from all required approach directions before moving to the next position.
  6. In exposed locations or where vehicles pass close, add ballast or sandbags to the stand base to prevent the assembly tipping.
  7. Check every assembly at the start of each shift. Re-seat or re-secure anything that has shifted or is leaning.
  8. To remove, pull the pole straight up from the socket, carry it back to the stillage, and lay it horizontally to prevent warping during transport.
