The POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8m FRP is the purpose-built pole for the POZ A-frame delineator stand system. At 5.8 metres, it is visible across open sites and above plant, hoarding, and ground-level obstructions — which is why you specify it over a shorter marker.
On large sites, ground-level delineation works at close range. A person approaching a cone sees it when they are almost on top of it. A 5.8m pole reads from across the site, giving plant operators, vehicles turning into an access lane, and workers navigating a large floor plate an early warning. That visibility gap is where incidents typically occur.
The pole is fibreglass reinforced plastic, so it is light enough for one person to carry at full length and will not corrode or degrade in outdoor conditions. It is blue, matching the POZ delineator system and separating these poles from orange or white TTM equipment on multi-function sites. The pole works with both the POZ 2-way and 4-way A-frame stands and stores in the POZ Pole Stillage between shifts. Site managers and traffic management coordinators on commercial, civil, and infrastructure projects specify it where delineation needs to be readable across the full site.

About POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8mt FRP
The POZ Site Delineator Pole 5.8m FRP works with both the POZ A Frame Stand 2 Way (6174-SDAF01) and the POZ A Frame Stand 4 Way (6174-SDAF02). Stands and poles are sold separately.
FRP is fibreglass reinforced plastic. It gives the pole a high strength-to-weight ratio — at 5.8 metres it is still light enough for one person to carry without assistance. FRP does not rust, holds up to UV exposure over extended outdoor use, and is non-conductive, which matters on sites with proximity to electrical services.
Blue is the colour code for the POZ delineator system, used to separate pedestrian corridors and public-facing zone markers from orange warning equipment. On sites with multiple layers of traffic management, the colour difference helps everyone read the site layout quickly.
The POZ Pole Stillage (6174-SDPST) is built for the 5.8m poles. It keeps them organised and secure during site moves and stops them rolling around or getting damaged between uses.
Yes. Delineator poles with A-frame stands are recognised devices under the NZTA Traffic Control Devices Manual Part 8. Any TTM plan should be prepared or signed off by a qualified traffic management coordinator.
One pole per stand. The number of assemblies you need depends on your site layout and the spacing in your approved traffic management plan.
