4-Arm Permanent Wire Jenny Mk3 25kg

SKU: FWJ00160

$495.00 + GST

The 4-Arm Permanent Wire Jenny Mk3 dispenses coiled fencing wire in a controlled, tangle-free run instead of a snarled mess on the ground. Unwinding wire off a stationary coil usually goes wrong somewhere: overrun kinks the line, and loose loops snag on posts as the crew tries to sort them out instead of stringing fence. The Jenny's self-regulating friction hub stops the coil the moment tension drops, and the wire stays taut as it feeds. Four adjustable fingers, 12mm diameter, lock onto coils of different sizes and hold a standard 25kg wire coil steady while it pays out. The frame is galvanised against corrosion and light enough to shift between runs, with a built-in handle for re-coiling any wire left at the end of a job. A ground spike anchors the unit into the site, so one person can walk out a line without someone steadying the reel. Civil and earthworks crews use it to string boundary and silt fence lines on New Zealand sites, where a fast, tangle-free run keeps the job moving.

Benefits

  • Wire pays out straight, without kinks or overrun, no matter how fast a crew pulls it
  • One person can string a fence line alone, without a second hand feeding the coil
  • Cuts wasted wire from tangles and overrun, so a 25kg coil goes further
  • Sets up in seconds. Drive the ground spike in and start unwinding
  • Handles different coil sizes on the same frame, no separate dispenser needed for each job
  • Galvanised construction holds up to repeated use outdoors on exposed sites
  • Re-coils leftover wire at the end of a run instead of leaving loose offcuts on site

Main Applications

  • Stringing silt fence and sediment control lines along earthworks site boundaries
  • Installing temporary boundary and site fencing during earthworks and civil projects
  • Re-tensioning and re-coiling wire during fence line maintenance or repair
  • Feeding wire to a crew working a strainer or post line without stopping to untangle coil
  • Setting up fence lines on exposed or remote sections of a civil site where power tools aren't practical

About 4-Arm Permanent Wire Jenny Mk3

How to install

4-Arm Permanent Wire Jenny Mk3

  1. Select a coil of wire sized to fit the standard 25kg (55lb) capacity of the Jenny.
  2. Load the coil onto the four adjustable fingers and lock them against the coil's inside edge.
  3. Drive the ground spike into firm ground at the start of the fence line.
  4. Set the friction hub before pulling, so it's tensioned to stop overrun once you release the wire.
  5. Walk the wire out along the fence line, letting the Jenny feed it under its own tension.
  6. Check periodically that the coil is feeding evenly and the fingers still hold it square.
  7. Re-coil any wire left over using the built-in handle once the run is complete.
  8. Remove the ground spike and relocate the Jenny to the next section of line.
