The Ricochet Safety Barrier has been engineered for superior energy absorption, enhancing safety and reducing injury during a crash.
The TL-2 water-filled barriers adhere to the AASH- TO MASH-1 standard, with a TL-2 rating suitable for speeds up to 70 km/h. With Ricochet being the first-ever barrier system to achieve the MASH standards in New Zealand, you are guaranteed safety and excellent performance.
The safety barriers measure 2000 x 1000 x 580mm (L x H x W) and have a pin-to-pin length of 1.7m when interconnected. Each barrier weighs 62 kg when empty and 660 kg when filled. With a 600-litre water fill capacity.
The barriers feature drain points on each side for safe water drainage. The fill point design allows for water extraction if necessary. Two 22mm mounting holes are located at the top of each barrier, allowing screens to be installed easily.
The end treatments are made up of two barriers and one cap, with a flat end, suitable for attaching safety delineation. The end treatments are not to be filled with water. With a barrier height of 1m, in compliance with CoPTTM section B6, additional safety fencing is typically unnecessary.
