First Aid Kit - Large Hard Case 20-30 Person 172 Piece

SKU: PM 432

$142.30 + GST

The PM 432 is a 172-piece hard case first aid kit sized for workplaces of 20 to 30 staff. The plastic case is wall-mountable and built around the kind of higher-absorbency dressings you need when someone gets a serious wound on a construction, demolition or civil site.

What sets it apart from a standard office kit is the contents. There's more bulk in the dressings, more saline, and a wider range of bandages than a 50-piece desk-drawer kit. The dressings themselves are absorbent enough to manage traumatic wounds, not just paper cuts. That's why H&S officers reach for the PM 432 on higher-risk industries: construction, demolition, civil works, fabrication and small manufacturing.

Most sites mount it on the site office wall, in the crib room, or near the main pedestrian entry. Anywhere the crew walks past every day. The trick is making the location part of your site induction so new starters know where the kit is on day one, not after they've already cut themselves looking for it.

If you want everything in one wheelable unit instead of a fixed wall mount, the Mobile Safety Station (MSS50) is the alternative. It packages a 50-person first aid kit with a 2.5kg fire extinguisher, eye wash kit, air horn and document storage on a trolley. Pick the PM 432 if you've got a wall to mount it on. Pick the MSS50 if you want one unit you can roll to where it's needed.

Refills sell separately. The Aero Saline Solution 30-pack (A295A) covers your saline replenishment, and most other consumables can be ordered individually so you're not throwing out a half-full kit because one thing ran low. For workplaces above 30 staff, step up to the 50-person Powerpac First Aid Kit (6162-FAKPC50). For single workers and service vehicles, the PM 400 is the right size.

How to install

First Aid Kit - Large Hard Case 20-30 Person 172 Piece

  1. Open the case and check all 172 pieces are there. Look at the saline and dressing expiry dates before you mount it. If anything's off, sort it now.
  2. Pick a spot everyone walks past. Site office wall, crib room, near the main pedestrian entry. Don't put it behind a locked door or in a corner office.
  3. Mount it at chest height so anyone can open it without lifting it down. Match the fasteners to your wall: timber screws for stud walls, anchors for gib, self-drillers for steel.
  4. Stick a
  5. Cover the location in your site induction. Make sure your trained first aiders know where it is.
  6. Diary inspections. Monthly on active builds, six-monthly when things slow down. Run a log if you need an audit trail for WorkSafe.
  7. Restock after every use. Keep a small reserve of plasters, dressings and saline so you're not waiting on a delivery when the kit's already been hit.
