High Tensile Wire - 2.5mm - 25kg coil is a 25kg coil of 2.5mm high tensile fencing wire, used to string and tension rural and temporary site fencing. Standard mild steel wire stretches and sags over a long run, needing more frequent re-tensioning and post replacement. High tensile wire holds its tension for longer, so a fence line stays straight with less ongoing maintenance. Supplied in a 25kg coil at 2.5mm diameter, it works with a Wire Strainer (6171-H302) to pull tension into the line during installation. Site managers and civil contractors use it for temporary site fencing, silt fence support wire and general rural fencing wherever a long-lasting, low-stretch wire is needed.
