Dewatering Bags, also known as Sediment Filter Bags, are perfect for pumping and filtering sediment laden water from construction or mining sites. They provide a cost effective and simple method of removing silt and heavy particles from excavation water. Manufactured from strong non-woven geotextile which allows water to filter freely through the bag while retaining solids. Flow rate of 80L/m2/sec, subject to variation during usage. Featuring a 100mm diameter hose inlet as standard, the Dewatering Bags can be custom made almost any size to suit different project requirements. The Silt and Hydrocarbon Filter Bags include an oil absorbent filtration media inside the geotextile bag. They are used to dewater an area containing both hydrocarbon and sediment contamination
