Marshalltown Magnesium Float 80 x 508mm (MT146D) is a lightweight hand float extruded from hard, durable magnesium. A heavy or dense float drags across soft concrete, and a poorly balanced handle tires the hand over a long finishing session. This float is Marshalltown’s most popular float design, with a comfortable handle positioned for perfect balance and secured with torque pad screws that won’t back out. Its resilient DuraSoft handle gives a soft feel, reduces fatigue and holds up to repeated use, and the magnesium blade produces a smoother finish than wood, making it well suited to air entrained concrete. At 508mm x 80mm, concrete finishers reach for this longer size wherever a wider slab needs hand floating covered in fewer passes.
