Description

The PC25/40 Precast and Formwork Chair holds reinforcing steel 25mm or 40mm off the form face, depending on which side of the chair you set down. Each pack holds 200 chairs.

A precast chair sits on the formwork and carries the bar or mesh above it, so cover is fixed before the concrete goes in. Precast yards and formwork crews use them on panels, slabs and tilt-up work where steel needs a firm base on a flat bed. Trades also call them bar chairs, rebar chairs, reo chairs or formwork chairs.
