Description

Self Tapping Timber Tek Screw 14G x 50mm is a Type 17 hex head screw for fixing timber to timber without pre-drilling. The Type 17 point cuts its own pilot hole as the screw is driven, so one tool does the drilling and the fastening. The full thread grips along the whole length of the shank, and the hex head takes a driver or nutsetter for solid torque in framing and formwork timber.

Each pack holds 500 screws and weighs 5.4kg. At 50mm long, the screw suits fixing sheet and thinner members to framing, and joining standard timber sections.
