The Samedia SHOXX AX13 Diamond Blade is a 400mm asphalt cutting blade with a 25.4mm bore. It is the asphalt blade in the Samedia SHOXX range and suits saws that take a 400mm blade on a 25.4mm arbor.
A diamond blade cuts by grinding. Diamond particles in the segments around the rim wear away the asphalt as the blade turns. Powerpac also stocks the AX13 in a 350mm size, the SHOXX UX17 for concrete and the SHOXX MX13 for universal cutting.
Powerpac has not published the maximum speed, the segment height or whether the blade is for wet or dry cutting on this SKU. Check the blade label and the saw rating before you fit it. Tradespeople also call this product an asphalt blade or a road saw blade.
