About Site Shield - Bruteboard™
Site Shield Brute Board can remain installed for up to 12 months thanks to its UV protection. However, we recommend removing it promptly after project completion to prevent any potential adhesive residue and maintain optimal floor condition.
Brute Board 5mm protects most finished surfaces including polished concrete, timber flooring, tiles, stone, laminate, vinyl, and epoxy coatings. The bonded felt underlay prevents scratches and surface abrasion on delicate finishes while the impact-resistant top layer handles heavy traffic.
Yes. Brute Board is waterproof and UV-stabilised for up to 12 months of outdoor use, making it suitable for exterior concrete, paving, and outdoor finished surfaces on construction sites.
Simply lay the boards flat over your finished surface with the felt side down. At just 3.9kg per 2.2m x 1.2m sheet, one person can easily handle and position the boards. Use the yellow barrier weights (sold separately) around the perimeter to secure boards in high-traffic or outdoor areas.
Yes. Made from durable polypropylene, Brute Board can be reused across multiple projects when properly maintained. After use, clean off debris and store flat to maximise lifespan.
Each sheet measures 2.2m x 1.2m (2.64m² coverage) with a 5mm thickness. The hi-vis yellow colour improves site visibility and safety.
The felt underlay is bonded to the polypropylene board without adhesive. This soft backing cushions the protected surface, preventing scratches and abrasion marks that can occur with harder protection products.
Yes. Brute Board 5mm is designed for heavy vehicle traffic including trucks, forklifts, and construction vehicles. The boards should be laid flat on a stable surface with edges secured to prevent movement.
The textured surface provides grip for foot traffic and equipment movement. For wet conditions or steep inclines, additional slip-resistant measures may be required.
Unlike cardboard, Brute Board is waterproof, impact-resistant, and reusable. While cardboard deteriorates when wet and offers minimal impact protection, Brute Board maintains its protective qualities in all weather conditions and withstands heavy equipment.
Yes. Brute Board can be easily cut with a utility knife or saw to fit around obstacles, corners, and irregular spaces.
