Ordinary masonry drilling throws dust into the air, and in hospitals, offices or other sensitive interior spaces that dust means extra cleanup and a health and safety problem under current, more stringent dust protection standards. This bit uses the TURBOCLEAN system, which combines drilling and dust extraction in a single step: extra-large openings at the tip and internally routed dust removal capture about 98% of drilling dust right where it originates, at the drill tip, instead of letting it spread into the room. The rugged drill head and shaft are built for a long service life and reduced drilling resistance, giving maximum productivity when setting chemical anchors.
