Concrete Washout Containment Bag

Description

The Concrete Washout Containment Bag gives ready-mix trucks and pump crews a quick way to contain washout waste and slurry on site instead of letting it run into stormwater or bare ground. Washing out a chute, hopper, or pump line without a containment system leaves wet cement slurry to set on the ground or wash into drains, creating a cleanup problem and a potential environmental breach. This bag is placed under the chute or hopper and its 200 micron polythene inner liner holds the slurry without leaking. Built-in lifting loops make it forkliftable for safe transport to an offsite disposal location once full, and the bag is tested to a 2470kg safe working load under Australian Standard AS3668-1989. At 0.70 cubic metres capacity, one bag handles a standard washout without needing multiple containers. Once the concrete inside has set, the bag and its contents can double as a low retaining wall, car park wall, or fill for a designated compound rather than going straight to waste. Civil, road, and commercial construction crews use it wherever ready-mix trucks or concrete pumps wash out on site.
