The Depth Markers 5 mm Heavy-Duty Corflute Pack of 24 is a set of ten printed corflute stakes that show how deep fill, aggregate or topsoil has been placed. Each marker is white with a black scale of numbered marks, so a crew can read the level at a glance from the machine or from the ground. A depth marker, also called a depth gauge stake or a fill depth marker, is pushed into the ground before the material goes down. The operator then places material until it reaches the mark they need. The markers are cut from 5 mm corflute, which is a rigid fluted plastic sheet. Powerpac has not published the marker height, the width or the unit of the scale, so check the size against your job before ordering. Earthworks crews, landscapers and drainlayers use them to check fill depth on site without a tape or a level.
